What is the thickness of a Colorbond fence sheet?

What can I use to fill the gaps under my Colorbond fence?

Gaps under a COLORBOND® steel fence are usually closed with a plinth along the base rather than with the fencing sheet itself, because infill sheets are designed to sit within the posts and rails rather than span uneven ground. ClickSteel does not stock plinths, so on a site with significant fall you will need to source one separately or have your installer step the fence down the slope. Where the gap is modest, ordering a taller sheet height so each panel sits closer to the ground will often close it without any extra products. How do you fix holes in a Colorbond fence?

Individual infill sheets are sold separately for exactly this reason, so the most durable fix for a holed or badly dented panel is to replace the affected sheet rather than patch it. Order the same profile and height as your existing fence, choosing from 17 COLORBOND® colours to match, then fix the new sheet to the rails with the correct tek screws. Small scratches and surface marks can be touched up instead, following the coating manufacturer’s repair guidance. Leaving holes unaddressed lets moisture sit behind the sheet and accelerates corrosion at the cut edges, so deal with damage promptly.
